Artesian Plumbing Pro built its entire scheduling system around one goal: getting a certified technician to your door the same day you call, prioritized by how serious the problem actually is.
How This Started
Fifteen years ago, Artesian Plumbing Pro started with a frustration that founders in this trade hear constantly from homeowners in Hamer, SC, that plumbing companies routinely make people wait days for a callback, let alone a visit, while water keeps finding new places to go. The company was built specifically to close that gap, structuring its entire dispatch and scheduling model around same-day availability rather than treating it as an upsell. Fifteen years of refining that system have turned a founding frustration into a genuine operational strength, one that Hamer, SC homeowners have come to rely on when something goes wrong at the worst possible time.
Our scheduling software flags calls by severity the moment they come in, so a homeowner describing an active leak is routed differently than one asking about a routine faucet repair, without either caller waiting unnecessarily.
Rather than dispatching every job from a single central point, our technicians are positioned throughout the coverage area during the day, which shortens the actual driving time between a call coming in and a truck arriving.
A same-day promise falls apart if a technician has to leave to fetch a part. Our trucks carry a wide inventory of common fixtures, fittings, and replacement parts specifically to avoid that delay.
You will get a real update on arrival timing rather than a vague promise, and if conditions change during the day, our dispatch team proactively lets you know rather than leaving you guessing.
Working quickly only helps if the work is still done correctly, which is why every technician maintains ISA certification and ongoing training even as our average response time has improved over the years.
As Artesian Plumbing Pro has grown, we have deliberately added technicians and route capacity ahead of demand, specifically to prevent the same-day standard from slipping as call volume increases.
The result is a company that homeowners in Hamer, SC now associate with a specific promise: call, and someone certified will actually show up that same day, ready to solve the problem rather than just schedule a future visit.
Fast-Response Services
Some plumbing problems can wait for a convenient appointment. Others cannot. The services below are the ones our dispatch system is specifically tuned to prioritize, because delay tends to make each of them meaningfully worse and more expensive to resolve.
A failing sewer line can quickly turn into a sanitation problem, and our technicians carry camera inspection equipment on every truck to locate the failure point without unnecessary excavation guesswork.
Sewer RepairWhen a sewer line is too deteriorated to repair in sections, our crews plan a replacement approach that limits how much of your yard or foundation area needs to be disturbed.
Sewer Line ReplacementA leak beneath a concrete slab is one of the most urgent situations we respond to, since it can undermine flooring and foundation over time. We use acoustic detection to pinpoint the leak before any cutting begins.
Slab Leak RepairA burst or cracked pipe is exactly the kind of call our same-day dispatch exists for. Technicians arrive equipped to shut off the affected section, repair or replace it, and confirm pressure is restored correctly.
Broken Pipe RepairA failed sump pump during heavy weather can mean a flooded basement within hours. We prioritize these calls and can also install a new system for homes without existing flood protection.
Sump Pump Installation RepairFor drains with buildup that a standard snake cannot fully clear, hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the interior of the pipe, restoring flow more thoroughly and for longer.
Hydro JettingLeaking valves or drains around a tub or shower can damage flooring quickly if left unaddressed, so these calls are handled with the same urgency as other active-leak situations.
Bathtub Shower RepairA cracked sink basin or a failing drain connection under a sink is fixed quickly on the same visit whenever the needed parts are already stocked on the truck, which is true for most common fixtures.

Coverage Across Hamer, SC
Same-day scheduling depends on more than good intentions, it depends on where technicians and vehicles are actually located throughout the day. Artesian Plumbing Pro plans its daily routes specifically to maintain coverage across Hamer, SC rather than clustering technicians near a single office. That structure is what allows us to keep response times realistic even during periods of higher call volume, such as seasonal temperature swings that tend to stress older plumbing systems across the area. Fifteen years of operating in Hamer, SC has also given us a practical sense of which neighborhoods tend to have older piping, which helps our dispatchers set accurate expectations with callers from the very first conversation, rather than offering a generic response time that does not reflect the reality of your specific location.

Our vehicles carry a wide range of common fixtures and fittings specifically to complete most repairs in a single visit, reducing the need for a callback.
These calls are prioritized in our dispatch system given the flood risk involved, and our technicians can often diagnose and resolve a pump failure or arrange a same-day replacement.
